Suyoung Kim

Suyoung Kim was a child who struggled in school. She dropped out of middle school then entered a vocational high school a year after her peers. Despite the ridicule, poverty, and family discord, she was admitted to Yonsei University, one of the most prestigious universities in Korea and won a scholarship after winning a famous TV quiz show. 

After graduating from college, she worked at Goldman Sachs, but at the age of 25, she underwent cancer surgery and wrote a list of 73 dreams she wanted to achieve before she died. She then moved to London, finished her master's degree, and worked for Royal Dutch Shell.

Her first book and autobiography, "Write Your Dreams, Write Your Future”, published in 2010, sold 300,000 copies and changed the lives of many people. In 2011-2014, she published "What is Your Dream?" and "What is Your Love?" based on interviews with over 500 people about their dreams and love in 47 countries around the world over a period of 25 months. She also filmed, starred in, and narrated a one-hour documentary that aired on SBS, the most popular TV channel in Korea.

In 2012, she founded the content company "Dream Panorama" and has shared the seeds of dreams in various ways, such as content production, publishing, educational programs, songs, apps, exhibitions, festivals, parades, and competitions. 

She also runs the YouTube channel "Suyoung Kim TV," which has over 10 million views and 100,000 subscribers, and the "Suyoung Kim School" which has been attended by over 3,000 people. She has also communicated with the public through over 800 lectures in Korea and abroad.

Her dream challenge, which has also been featured in middle school textbooks in Korea, is ongoing. The list of 73 dreams has grown to 83, and she has achieved 73 dreams in 80 countries, such as buying a house for her parents, climbing Kilimanjaro, appearing in a Bollywood movie, becoming a cosmetics advertising model, and getting married to the person she loves. 

She has published the healing essay "Soul Spa" based on the insights she has gained through meditation, practice, psychology, and spiritual studies. She believes that "being here and now, right here" is the greatest happiness. 

After becoming a mother, she wrote the picture book "The Whole Universe Loves You" as a first birthday present for her son and the fairy tale "Healer Aina" for her daughter. In 2023, she wrote another picture book titled "Love Recharge" as a gift to herself and all the moms around the world.
